Impacts of Flooding on Your Facility: Communication Request

In light of the recent flooding, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is actively monitoring the effects of flooding on the health and safety of residents/patients/clients. If your facility has been impacted by flooding, is in a potential evacuation area or has been asked to evacuate due to flood danger, please complete the attached form and send it to us . We are particularly interested in situations where transportation may be necessary to transfer people to a safe place or where appropriate alternative housing has not been found. Wild Fire Evacuation Communication Request

In light of the continuing fires and threats of fires, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is asking Facility/Agency Personnel to notify the Health Facilities and EMS Division if your agency/ facility is located in a pre-evacuation or mandatory evacuation zone or if you are voluntarily evacuating your residents/patients. The form has been posted to our webiste. You can view it here. STEMI/Stroke Task Forces

Recent legislation authorized the formation of two new task forces charged with examining the care, coordination and data repositories for stroke and STEMI patients in Colorado. Qualified applicants, as defined in the legislation, are being recruited from across the state. Please consider applying to participate on one of these task forces and please share the Act and application with any qualified individual who may be interested in the work to be done by these task forces.
